At Tubecon we have a long history of designing and fabricating complex steel structures and steel bridges.
From the design phase through to fabrication and installation, our dedicated team brings with it a wealth of experience. We have a diverse portfolio of erecting complex steel structures across a range of sectors including retail, commercial, public buildings, education, health, rail, sport and leisure, artworks, and infrastructure.
Our experience in complex steel structures is enhanced by our specialised knowledge and real-time delivery of technology, such as Tekla software, allowing us to create and manage 3D models for our projects, complete with detailed engineering and construction information. At Tubecon we have worked on numerous sites that involve complex steel requirements which have been tailored to the unique specifications of each project.
As part of Billington Structures, steel is at the heart of what we do, but with a strong supply chain we also have access to other materials and have worked on a number of projects that utilised structural timber, ETFE, Tensile Fabric and GRP, glass and lighting.
We offer a fully integrated service with in-house technical and design teams, dedicated project managers and modern, well equipped fabrication facilities.
With this level of service we can ensure the accuracy and quality of fabrication every time. Our experienced team supports our clients, along with the designers and architects throughout the project.
By involving us in the early stages, our experience and insight can bring considerable benefit to any project. Our experienced chartered engineers can offer advice with specifications to help with connection design and composite construction.
Our project management team have extensive experience in the installation of complex structures including the planning and execution of all lifting operations. Our preference is to carry out as much fabrication and assembly off site, however, when a structure is too large to transport we will design the appropriate temporary works to enable the final assembly to take place on site.
